I guess the name says it all. Years ago, over at the Sorting Hat at the WB.... there used to be a thread where people posted their Harry Potter dreams. I think that is what I'll post most often here, since my regular dreams are enough to make you wonder about me.  Jump in guys... I know I'm not the only one who has these. All are welcome.  |

Last night just before I went to bed, I spent quite a few hours over at the Pottermore site. I was hunting down all of the things we could click on... searching for hidden numbers (see the pottermore thread for more on that.) SO... eventually I came to the end of the book. YAY!!!! I finally finished it for the first time. I know I'll have to go back again another time just because I could not get all of the pages to fully load. Sometimes the tree would freeze instead of moving... Sometimes the forest would not zoom in to allow me to see the unicorn... and then I got kicked out of the library when I was clicking on books... Too many people there.. but I turned around and got back on. Anyway... I presevered and made it to the end.... Learned some more NEW things that happened to McGonagalls life after Voldemort fell the first time... I'm so happy for her... but sad at the same time. Well... too much potter on my brain as I went to sleep. So.... I dreamed last night of searching for numbers on that site and found a handful more.  They were not where you would expect for them to be either... at the very bottom of the screne... Makes me think my mind went back to how she did the early bird special when allowing people to find those windows to get to become a beta user... then you take the clue and add it into the website address to take you to the hidden page. YEAH... my mind is working overtime on those stupid numbers they hid over there.. I just have to find out why they are there. Oh my obsession is so bad. ;D |

OK.... these are going to be a bit short. A couple of weeks ago, I had a dream that Voldemort was chasing me. I don't know where I was or why he was after me.. but there he was. I was running, then when he reached out his bony fingers to grab my right shoulder, I woke up. That's it folks... Weird I say. But what is more weird? That very morning, my daughter came out of her room stretching. She then told me that she had a Harry Potter dream that night... She said Snape was her boyfriend. He was wearing a church suit and tie. He came to pick her up... I think she said he was taking her to a dance. Now.. How many of my friends would LOVE to have that dream?  How many DO or ever HAVE had that dream? Here my daughter is not really a Snape fan and she's a bit weirded out by it all. Well... for that I"m grateful. Still, for one night to have two Harry Potter dreams and all I get is Voldemort for crying out loud.  |

I've had two that I can remember. One was about Dumbledore having a wife and child and coming back as a ghost to visit them. The other was about Harry and Hermione going to wizard college. They were both good dreams but I want that Snape one!

some years ago, i had a dream about snape. he was the lead singer and lead guitarist for a alt-progressive band!! ;D ;D too funny, but it was a cool dream and he was very good.
a few months later, i had another dream that was completely different. my ex was in it and he threw out a mantel clock that belonged to me. i saw it in the bin and i pulled it out as the clock was still working. then i said the word green and snape came. very odd, he touched me on the shoulder or something and it burned. how weird is that? ;D wish i could have had miss c's daughter's dream!!! why couldn't i have a dream about going out with snape rather than getting scorched by his touch? ;D

;D Oh my goodness! I know what you mean... why did she have that dream when it would freak out a kid her age and here I am I too would love to have that one. Hmmm.... maybe he scorched you because in your mind he's HOT STUFF!

Oh I had a weird one the other night. I was getting ready to go on an adventure with Dr. Who. Don't ask me which Doctor it was, because I never could see his face all that well. Anyway, I was just about to step into the Tardis. I was so excited to get to go. Then someone here woke me up. I was so tired that night and upset that I was woke up... that even in my dream, I could not go travel the world. I cried. ;D Thanks goodness I've had some rest since that night. Still, I wonder where my mind would have taken us that night. |

Dreams....
You know how fun it is to have a Harry Potter type dream. Well, I had one of the most horrific ones the other night. Dumbledore was so evil he put Voldemort to shame by a long shot. Poor Harry and I could not even do anything to save him. I'm not going to put in the details as to what he did, because it's enough to turn even the most horror movie fanatic's stomach. However, in the dream I did try to ruin Dumbledore's brilliant end plan. I woke with the sound of his voice and we've all heard him do it before... SCREAM out someone's name. This time he knew it was me, so it was my name he yelled out.

OK.... On a night like last night, I would HAVE to have a Harry Potter dream. No kidding. I'm not giving out details, but it was a strange one indeed. Xenophilious Lovegood... Now where did THAT one come from? That is all I'm sharing, because I need to get over that one. I had an HP related dream, too! LOL I was with some friend (not a real life friend), and we were traveling. We were staying overnight at one of his friends' houses. When we get there, I realize that it is Ralph Feinnes! He was very nice but didn't hang out with us much, and I asked my friend if he thought it would be okay for me to ask to have a picture taken of us together, so I could show my friends. We had one taken that was just a regular smiling picture, and one where Ralph put on one of his Voldemort faces. That was it! LOL I have no idea where THAT came from, as I have no particular draw to RF. I mean, I think he was a great Voldemort, but other than that I don't pay much attention to him! Erin |

See I have always been a fan of his ever since I first saw him in Quiz Show. I never saw a more handsome guy in my life. Then I hear that they were going to cast HIM for Voldemort? I thought... What are they thinking?! But I've come to except him as Voldemort... Really, I suspected that they might choose someone who looked closer to the guy who played Tom Riddle from the diary, to play the adult version of him. So.. you had a dream about him? So funny... that we both had a Harry Potter dream on the same night. (by the way. I'm multitasking, so if I fall off the radar, it should only be for a moment.) |

This is not Harry Potter but it was to do with Halloween so I guess there's a little HP connection. I dreamt it was Halloween day and I looked outside and found this pumpkin face in one of my trees. I thought I had left it up there from last Halloween-then looked around and found there were decorations in the trees everywhere, black cats, jack o lanterns, etc and my sister had deoorated the whole yard for a surprise. I had gotten a Halloween catalog in the mail last week and I think this was what put Halloween in my head-it was a cool dream anyway.

I sort of had a Harry Potter dream this week.
All I know is that in the dream I was walking along a corridor. Aparantly, it was a school of some sort. Not Hogwarts though. (Phooey!) I was carrying my books in my arms, then from around the corner walks Emma Watson. She was walking my way. There was a guy with her. She pretended not to see me, and I never said a thing to her. She continued on walking and talking with that guy. She had her arms behind her back. As she and I passed each other, we both intentionally bumped our shoulders. Neither of us said a thing, just kept on walking. We were good friends and needed not comment at that time. I just smiled and turned down the corner hallway she had come from.
Now what's up with that?
Like you Fangsfan, I believe there's some reason I dreamed what I did. The only thing I can come up with is that I have been longing to take a couple of college classes. I'd LOVE to learn computer coding. I'd be rusty at it but at least it would be a good challenge. I've been telling this to my hubby lately. Not only that class but I'd love to take a couple of other courses as well. This had to be on my mind when I dreamed this.

I'll bet your right, I think lots of times there is a reason for what we dream. I had forgotten about that dream but remembered when I saw your post, can't believe it was back in 2013!

A couple of funny dreams this week.
First, I dreamt that I had gone to a friends' house, and Emma Watson was there. We were going to watch a movie, and I didn't want to bother her, but she had no problem just sitting with us all. That was it... Then last night, I met Duddahs and his family! I remember meeting him and being introduced to his family...that was it for that one. Funny how all my HP related dreams involve visiting someone's house and just happening to meet someone!

I've been having crazy dreams every night for nearly two weeks. Funny thing, it started with a Harry Potter dream. Well sort of. Anyway, I had hoped to be able to have shared it with you guys the very next day. Oh well. The reason I said "sort of", it wasn't really a Harry Potter dream but a dream that had JKR in it. I have no idea why I had it, because I was not even thinking about her or the Potter series before I went to sleep. Newt's movie was not due out until this week. In the dream, for some reason I walked right into someone's house. I didn't know who to expect on the other side or if anyone would be home. There were several people in the living room and dining room- kitchen areas. It was not a party, just a handful of people were there. When someone saw me standing in the hallway, they called for Jo to tell them someone just walked into her house. I said excuse me then backed toward the door to leave. She came toward me and asked for me to stay. Long story short, I stayed and enjoyed the company of her and her friends for several hours. When it was time to go, and I was heading for the door, she invited me back. We got along great and became close friends. Apparently, I must have become a regular guest, because I had more memories of JKR and I hanging out. Like.... what in the world brought THAT dream on? I LOVE her imagination, but as a person I don't really know her. I've seen some of her twitter comments and she seems so different than when being interviewed for any of the Potter films. |

What a great dream. Miss Charlotte, I remember you saying once you wondered if JKR ever lurked on the WB boards. I think if she did that and saw your many threads and ideas, and then how you created this site and kept HP alive, she would welcome you with open arms into her home.
Have not read her on twitter, will have to check that out!
