One might think that the riddles have a related string to them somehow might one? I wondered about that too. And is the word string in the above sentence a hint? At first I thought it might be all people or places that have helped Harry in some way. Now I'm wondering if they are all people or things that could be found on Privet Drive>
2. In row upon row I am to be found. Lowly guarded by stone and large flowers to be found. Prim and proper and square as can be. Many a stacks reside upon me.
My other guess had been possibly the school library because of the stacks but now it doesn't seem to fit. Unless it's Aunt Petunia's flower garden? I am getting stumped, think I'm going to think on it again!

The kitties did come and the kitties did go, but their remembrance was captured and put on a yearly good show. Then the answer most definately has to be... Mrs. Figg.

The response I gave did indeed have something to do with the correct answer.. Go for it, keep on trying. I am sure it will come to you.. Maybe just take a walk round the block and take in the view to clear your head.

2. In row upon row I am to be found. Lowly guarded by stone and large flowers to be found. Prim and proper and square as can be. Many a stacks reside upon me. Is it Privet Drive itself with its row of houses? Yes! Now you have it Fangsfan1, your answer now is Absolutely Correct! It is Number 4 Privet Drive.. If you remember the description of Number 4, it is surrounded by a low stone wall. It has large Hydrangea bushes under the front window in which Harry hid during the heat of the Summer to listen to the News Casts. It has numerous Chimney stacks and is Square in Shape and almost identical to all of its neighbors as it is also a part of a Row of Brick Townhouses. Prim and Proper is how the house was described having once believed that they had won a Best Kept Lawn award, the Dursleys were lured away from their home.

The only thing I have been able to come up with for this one is the Whomping Willow but I don't think it can be right. I'll have to think some more on it this weekend, if nobody else figures it out. Excellent Quiz, thank you Fawkes.

Excellent Quiz, thank you Fawkes. I am so sorry to say Fangsfan1, that your instincts this time are right. Your answer is in fact incorrect. Please do try again. Fawkes always enjoys having all come and try to solve the Riddles of Fawkes. It is one of the things that makes The Lovegood Lounge so much more enjoyable than all the other sites. You might want to see if you can connect the other answers given to this point on the other Riddles. You will see that the thread is strong and the story as it goes very long. So go around and play some more, yep that is the ticket just get outside of your sheltered door.

3. Round and round and swings too and fro. To teeter on the edge, still a comfort I am to be known.I am with fangsfan when she said the first thing thatcomes to mind was the Willow tree but still, it does not fit either. My second thought goes more towards the Shrieking Shack that moves to and fro and also is a place of comfort now that they know it was not a place to fear.. Still, that does not fit in with the rest of the answers and Privet Drive. Hmm? Taking a stab and say... the Weasley's flying car?

I am still really stumped on this one. It's not the Weasley's flying car is it?

Unfortunately the answer is not the Weasleys Car.
But if you have stood your ground and have played around and have taken your best swing and still do not know where I am then you might need to stop sitting on the fence and teeter totter over here right in deedy.

I forget offhand the name of the playground that Harry likes to hang out at while he's staying with his aunt and uncle... But it has to be that.
