Ever had an idea just *POP* into your head? That is what this thread is about.

Storylines.... Topics you would like to see from another's person's perspective.

This thread is where we take the readers (YOUR) topic ideas into account. What PROMPT for a storyline you would most like to read? We are making a list HERE.

A couple of rules for THIS thread:

~ It HAS to be Harry Potter related. (and go by the rules of this site.)

~ List as many as you want, just copy and paste to the existing list of others already mentioned.

~ You don't have to be a writer to post ideas for others to write about.

~ If you MUST critique something written.. remember MANNERS.. everyone has a heart. Simply, be kind.

~ SUGGESTION: Personal idea of mine, but this does not have to be a rule...
The prompt would be better if it is not intricate when you add it to the list. In other words, it might be better if it is simple so each person who might choose that particular prompt could write with diversity from say.... another person's idea to post for that same particular prompt.
(example for a prompt: Out by the Lake... One person might make it daytime... another night time... maybe it could be a Hagrid story... or another person might want it to be about Mermaids... or another might have Neville do something... or another person might see clearly that it's a first year's journal entry. Simple... but easily seen to be different depending upon the in mind's eye of the writer's... choice.)

~ Also, please don't be upset if a prompt is not chosen. Once, I had one posted someplace else that for the life of me, I could not come up with a thought to use for that particular prompt. Another time, it took me a few weeks to have something come to mind. Sometimes these things just take time.

~ All entries will be posted over at the SHORT STORY thread within this same board... NOT on this thread. This thread is simply to make the topics of interest to be chosen from... or to just discuss ideas with each other. Chat is allowed.

~ All entires will be a one post long.

~ Be Harry Potter related.

~ And go by the rules of this site. In other words... kid friendly.

PS.... I reserve the right to change or add to this list of rules, if I myself see there might be some difficulties with this idea. I don't really think there will be. After all, this is all for fun.

I know I'm excited to see what you and others here come up with too. There are many good topics to choose from already. Keep em' comming.

Some of these have tempted my thoughts and pen. I do hope to begin to write something soon.

(Lately, I have not been home long enough to do much of anything. If I were, then I'd have already had something under way. )

OK... I've chosen a subject. I already had an idea of sorts on how I'm going to tackle it... but I wadded up that idea and threw it across the room. I have a much better idea that I forgot that I was going to use in a much bigger story some day... I can do that instead. Oh and the juices have been flowing since last night too. Now it's only a dream of mine to write the entire story which would have many chapters... and this would have been only one stuck somewhere in the middle.... I don't realistically see that I will ever get the whole fanfic written... but at least this one part, I will. Now on for the research... not really much to look up in the first place.. just lots of imagination to drag outta me until it flows like water.
