Grimm airs in the U.S. on Friday eves while Once Upon a Time airs on Sunday Eve. Hey... there are two new shows I want to watch as soon as they hit the rental stores... THIS SHOW and another called Once Upon A Time. Actually, I think Grimm just had their first season release. I'm going to have to go check it out soon. Both of these shows seem like they are right up my alley.

The day before yesterday, I rented the series Once Upon a Time. I get to keep it for a week. So, my house is quiet for now.... I've already begun my marathon and it's pretty good. I love their take on the fairy tales to modern storyline. It's so fresh.
Well, it's on pause. You guys have fun.

OK.. I"m hooked. I've been watching this all day except for when I went to run a couple of quick erronds this afternoon. I'm giving my eyes a few minutes of a break. I already have my DVR set to record all episodes of this. I'm so glad I decided to give this a chance. Well, you know how much I love fairy tales. It's a no brainer that I would fall for this series. (I also can't wait to see Grimm. The episode or two that I did catch on before was good, I was just lost since I didn't start at the beginning.) Well, I have some soup cooking. It'll be done in a minute. Right now, Snow just took the potion. The wedding's been called off and now I've got to see what's going to happen next.

Whew! That was one long marathon that I just could not stop watching for anything. Now I've got to go find out how many from this season I'm missing... Wait! How many seasons have there been so far. UGH! However, I do recommend anyone to watch if they like the good ole fashioned fairy tales. Thanks Duddahs. edited to add.... That I'm going to go eat dinner since it's done.. getting cold. I'll be back for a good posting spree.

OK, Duddah, you were right. Before tonight's episode I had missed the first few of this season. And you were right. My theory was way off.
I had mentioned two. One being that I thought Snow White's Queen must have killed her mother thus inheriting the evil that we all know about. Especially since we did get to see her beginnings and what fuels her anger toward Snow. So, yes... and really I'm happy that I am wrong because now we will get to see this lady do her stuff. She's raring to go and doing so.
Still, I'm holding out hope that Henry the boy with the book is also Henry Regina's father. I honestly believe she really does love the boy. And we did see that she loved her father... well, as much as she could. I still say there is something missing about how she got her evil in the first place to where she could do what she did to her father.

OK, I need to tell you to find last weeks episode. Maybe ABC has it on their online site available to watch as a streaming show.
The very question you have in mind was played out last week.
I do not give things away and just want to nudge you to try to watch the 3 episodes you have missed. They are VERY IMPORTANT!

Actually, I looked that up last night. I found this official site. beta.abc.go.com/shows/once-upon-a-timeturns out that I'm going to have to pull up each episode one at a time. However, last night I watched a small clip where The Queen tried to use magic for the first time. I'm sitting on the edge of my seat, but knew I had to get rest for today. (boss laides and the new hire person just left. She sounds good. We just called and said they need to start the ball rolling. I will soon have a helper. YAY!) Anyway, I'm pretty much free for the rest of the day. I'm hoping that I can catch up on this series sometime today. Funny though, Watching season one on DVD I was spoiled. No commercials. Last night on tv, I had to sit through them. Oh I am just rotten, spoiled for frowning at having to do so. Still, it added to the anticipation.

That episode.... We Are Both..... the second one of the second season, is my favorite. I've watched it more than once.
I'll have to say it, Regina is my favorite character.
There are so many ways they could take this series. But I do have to scratch my head... I know my fairy tales and I also know other childhood stories. Peter Pan is not a fairy tale but a story written for all. Hmm? Well, maybe it is. I did notice that Disney did their version. I guess I always saw stories like Peter Pan as well as The Wizard of Oz or Robin Hood as being more other stories that adults as well as children love to read. But they are diffferent. Still, I like how they are adding in Hook.
OK.... some things to think about.... Lose ends:
~ Regina's vault looks like the one from the Queen of Hearts in THAT world.
~ What caused Rumplestilskin to have a limp? Maybe his first experience in the Ogre wars? Na... I think there is more to tell about that issue.
~ Who is the Doctor from Storybrooke in the fairy tale world?
~ Will we see Malificent in Storybrooke or is it ONLY Regina the Queen who is in that world?
~ I have been wondering if people who had died like Regina's father, her stable boyfriend, Prince Phillip, Charming's mother or other brother will be seen in Storybrooke? However I think this was answered tonight. (If what we were shown tonight is true, then Henry and Emma are the only people who never existed in Fairy Tale World.)
~ Will we get to see Rumple's son? I can't help but wonder if he's already in Storybrooke and living there as an adult. Still, I'd like to find out how he got there.
~ I think there is more to the mines than we've seen already. I wonder if there might be a portal through to the fairy tale world. My clue: Snow's glass coffin piece that Regina found. She seems to want to bury that old mine for some reason too. Sounds fishy to me.
~ Oh where did Pinochico go?
~ Are there three different dementions? One- Storybrooke. Two- Fairytale world's past. Three- the in between pr cursed space.
I don't think Regina created that cursed space because it existed already. We see Regina push her mother into another demention.... the cursed land. We only see Kora IN THAT world. That is where Mulan, Aurora and Lancelot are located. THis is also where Snow and Emma are at now. It seems like it was always there and not just because of the curse Rumple and Regina did to the Fairytale world.... or else where did her mother go from the beginning?
ok... too much thinking. I need to sleep.
WAIT! I tried watching Grimm the other day... Esh... I'm not sure if I can get into it by jumpin in this late. I'll have to give it another try later on.

Why is it that I always end up liking the bad guys better than the good guys? I DO tune in every Sunday night to watch this show. I can't miss it.... well if I can help it. Still, my favorite people on this show are Regina, the evil queen and Mr. Gold. I like him best as Mr. Gold than Rumple... well, I do miss his evil weird laugh. ;D

I was glad to see that Grimm is back and that it is not suffering the bad writing that some other shows this year are experiencing.
Now, how to deal with the Captain?

Duddahs has always been a very nurturing soul but boy, Duddahs would love to just kick the cow pie out of Peter Pan! My daughter fell out of her seat the first time he came onto the show. She loves him. Funny because I have a Peter Pan hanging from an invisible thread from my son's bedroom ceiling and he looks just like the guy playing him. Here I thought that once they leave Neverland, then we would be leaving Peter behind... YAY, I can't wait to see what happens in Storybrooke. I love the twist they have since I've never liked Henry from the get go. Now we will see if he can really act. He's got to make it believable that he's not really Henry... So now the spotlight is on him. I like the fact there is a new bad guy, especially since they have been humanizing Rumple and the evil Queen, which are my favorite characters from the beginning. Pan's a nasty fellow and I was in total shock when we found out who he really is. I said it out loud about five minutes before they dropped this bomb on us. I can't wait till the next episode. I just wished that the would not reveal to the other characters who Henry is this soon. Make it hard for them to believe at first... I mean, give them a couple more weeks before they are convinced. So, by seeing the previews for next week at the end of this last episode sort of ruins some of my hopes... Oh well. Can't win them all.

Well Duddahs did and it seems it was a One Season Wonder.
Great ending!
