So here's a new game I thought of. It's basically a game where you have to make a spell that would help you out in your everyday life. All you have to do is make up a spell name, tell us what problem it would solve, and give a description of it.
For example:
For those times where you want instant snow, just cast Congelaquas and voila. Snow will being to shoot out from your wand.

I mean, are you using a site where they will translate your words into Latin or something for the spell's wording? I know Rallem has a thread here something like this one but not as fully defined. I could not figure out where to go to get the proper words for the spells I was trying to create. Right now, I'll go to a site if I can find one and attempt my hand at this.... be right back

OK.... I used this site: www.stars21.com/translator/english_to_latin.htmlHmm? Let's see.... I would like some Hot Chocolate.... So I point my wand to my mug and say the magic words... Fervens Chocolate and Now I have the scent reaching my nostrils... I take a sip. Mmmm..... perfect. Thanks NZ for creating this thread. Sounds like it's going to be a fun one.

But you dont have to use one. For example, Hey, did you guys hear about the new Device-Charger Charm? It's a simple spell that you cast on any device, giving it infinite battery life.

Yes, I'd love that NZ, especially for my flashlights.
My spell for today is lumos protego and it's for candles. I love to scented candles but it makes me nervous with a rambunctious dog and cat in the house. When you point your wand at a candle and say the spell, a protective barrier will form around the candle when anyone gets too near it so there won't be any accidents.

alright NZ... thanks. Funny that you mentioned that FF. I have had my cats catch fire a few times because of my love for candles. So for years now I use a warmer. Looks like what you would use to keep a coffee mug warm with during the day, but it's for candles.. AND what's more funny, I just got home from work I bought two wax warmers. There are these little six pack packages of candle wax with strong fragrants. Anyway, I'm just about to set mine up. A friend of mine said she put one in her downstairs bathroom and she could smell the tiny little cube clear upstairs. I'm going to try it out... OH and that reminds me.... OFF TO THE OWL THREAD I GO! Muscae! = (Fly)

Wow, I hope your cats were okay Miss Charlotte.
If only we all had a Fire Temperature Charm on all of our fire sources. Just simply cast this on a candle, for example, and when you raise your wand, the candle gets hotter. When you lower it, the flame cools, but does not go out.

I hate trimming my trees and shrubs around my house, so I just cast Crescuntus Prohibis once a year in the spring, and they stop growing and stay the way they are.

Got up this morning and noticed a great deal of unwanted facial hair so I took my wand and with a swish and a flick along with the clear pronunciation " saeta amotio " my face was smooth as a babies behind...
That is unless you are a baby Rhinoceros, then I am sure your behind is anything but smooth.

OK... I"m not making this one up... I just got back from the eye place and I finally have me a brand new pair of reading glasses... I've been needing a new pair for a couple of years. (I'll have to wait until income tax returns to get me an updated pair of bifocals.) Anyway... it's so cool to actually be able to see the words here... I didn't even have to say: Oculus Repairo! Hmm.... Maybe this would have sufficeth: Accio lectio vas!which means... Accio reading glasses. ================== just back read.. Yes my cats would catch fire but then quickly would be snuffed out. Once they freaked out their sudden movements would blow it out quick. And of course we kept an eye out for them.. Each time moving the candles higher and higher so this would not happen again. They were alright. Thanks. Maybe I should have pointed my wand at the cats and said: ignem exstinguere! (which means "extinguish fire!")

This spell is for anyone who is currently moving. If you want to move all of your things quickly, just think of a location, point your wand at your things, then mutter Transportari and your things will get moved to that location.

That's a great one, I really could have used that a few years ago when I was helping my Aunt move to a Senior Citizen's housing development. She had lived in the same house since she was 19-lots to move.

Exconfettitatum.... A spell to cause falling confetti to magically evaporate into nothingness before it touches the ground.
That way there would be no big mess to clean up after a celebration!

OK.... today I want to be a healer... So i point my wand and say: Aegrotatio extraho! (illness extractor) then all of the cruddy mess flies out of eveyone's face and lungs for forever.... never to return again. (Then I capture it in a jar to set on Snape's desk. No telling what he'll do with it.)
