Wow nice. I can picture you and your guests out under the canopy, sitting enjoying each other's company in the shade. Love the garden.
Right now, my yard and what not are getting a much needed downpour of rain. I love to hear the thunder roar!!!! YAY! Most of the flowers that I planted have passed away. We moved the water hose that seeps water out like sweating through the length of it... from the back to the front. I've managed to keep my small, new rose bushes from shriveling up and dying. ALso, so happy to see my large elephant ears are surviving. For them, it's a day to day struggle.
Oops! Power just went out. Thank goodness I have a fully charged battery on my laptop. (I'll save this post to my computer and post it when all is back up. For now... I'll keep going.)

Ok I've been having issues with TP for a couple of weeks. Then I saved a list of codes of pictures I wanted to post here. H0pe these work. And I think I should have an automatic image resizer for this site. I guess I'll find out in a moment.
My Mattiecat
The squirrels have finished eating their corn, so Mattie decides to stay put and soak up the sun in the front window.
Mattie's the one who gets very insistant/persistant that I brush her too, after I finish my shower and had brushed out my wet hair. Sometimes I wonder if she likes the smell of clean fur/hair. But honestly, she will meow very loudly and try to grab at the brush/comb anytime anyone is using it. She does not want to be left out. She likes to feel pretty too. LOL. Goofy cat.
That was last winter, out on the back porch, she was laying on an old trunk that we keep the bird seed bag, the squirrel corn and things I use for gardening.
Cyndi had broken her bank and was counting out her money when suddenly Mattie decided to roll around in her cash. I guess she likes the smell of money. LOL Yep, she likes to sleep on the Harry Potter comforter I have in my son's room.

Babycat
This is Babycat's favorite way to sleep.... belly up. We have tons of pictures like this. She also does this when she's trying to sweet talk us into petting her.... as if she needs us too.
Baby loves the camera. I think I have more of her on my cell phone than the other cats.
Here's another one from last winter. It was warm enough to take AJ outside to sit on the back porch. Baby is the only one who likes to keep AJ company. Here she's keeping his feet warm.
We usually feed our cats dry catfood. A combination of two in fact. One is store bought to help with Mattie's sensitive tummy. They all like it, and that's good. Then the other bag of dry we give them is only bought at the vet. It's prescription strength to help Baby not get anymore kidney stones. It kills us that we can't give her any milk anymore. Also, doc said she has to only drink distilled bottled/jug water. No tap water. Anyway, this was her sitting outside while she was supposed to be recovering from the surgery (cost total of over $800. We can't do that again so she has to be kept on her diet.) This was canned vet food while she was recovering. She obviously didn't like it much. Still, she is often seen peeking in through the cat hole door at us while she's outside. OR she gets into staring contests with the other cats, each on the other side of the door. Goofy cats.

Kittencat
This is KittenCat
As you can see she stands very straight. I've never seen a cat so in line before like this. We think it's because of the car wreck that brought her to us to live in our home. There was something wrong with her hips, but she healed quickly. As you can see, her tail had fallen off. So funny. She wags her nub tail like a dog does. Here she's watching the birds and squirrels out in front of our house.
There she is sneeking through our tv stand. She is so fastenated when we use the remote to open up our bluray player. She'll wake up from a dead sleep and run over to try and catch it. Yep, that's my girl's school picture from a year or so ago, on top of the stand.
There Kitten is, sitting on the back porch last winter.
Lastly, she's sitting on a stool, looking out the front door at those squirrels and birds again.

I've been wondering where you put this thread... you have it on the Harry Potter game board. (Right now I'm making a master list or "map" of our site. I never realized just how many threads are on our site. )

Thanksssss, OH, forgot Pottermore sorted Duddahs into Slytherin... See the sorting hat can be wrong! *snickers* NO problem. I'll find a place that's private where only our good friends here can see. I thought the section where the Head Table is located was private, but I noticed the other day how I could see it when I was signed off. Might have been a glitch.
It's so good to see you here again.

That one picture looks like snowman footprints leading beneath the arch. Cool! I know that they really are stone steps for a pathway because I see them in a summer pic too.
Wow you decorate ALL of the trees in the back yard PLUS love the little ones.
That one all lit up in your house, blue with the ornaments looks like childhood memories. For some reason, the Christmas train was something I missed growing up. I never heard of that tradition to put one up that time of year until I married. Well, aside from the year Santa brought my little brother a train set when he was little.
That little one on the table? Is that doves I see? Love how they reflect the lights on the wall.
Most all of our nutcrackers are ornaments that are on our tree now. Except the one we bought when we were over in Germany nearly 30 years ago. Love your collection. I'll bet that took a while to collect.
These are so beautiful. Thanks for sharing. I'll go watch your students now. So I'll be back in a bit.
===================
I'll just comment back on this post. I'll bet you are so proud of your students. It's obvious. They are little darlings on their way up. They sure look like they are enjoying themselves out there. Thanks for sharing with us.

Miss Charlotte,
The image you see with the blue and green light reflecting on the wall and a small tree is covered in Antique Glass Birds.. The tree's are known as Feather Tree's as they are actually made out of tied feathers to the wire frame and the glass birds, all various types have small clips on their bottoms so they clip to the branch. The only one that is not glass is the one at the very top, he is made of real blue feathers and is nearly 75 years old and shockingly still intact.
