Film fashions. Despite the way JKR dressed the students in the books, the students were dressed very differently througout the film series... even from movie to movie. Which movie did you like the way the trio looked best and why? (example: hair, hats, robes, muggle clothes, dress whatever.)

Hmmm....I think maybe HBP, off the top of my head....might change my mind if I get a chance to review all the movies. It seemed to me to be a good combo of muggle attire, and wizard robes.

I'm thinking POA. Alfonso Cuarón's take on the style of the clothing in the film was very different, but good, from what we were used to seeing in the previous films. It was the first time we saw the trio and the rest of the Hogwarts students in raggedy, but more natural looking uniforms, and more casual clothes. It made everything much more personal and relatable to.
I think he was criticized by a few critics for this move, but I think it worked out it the end.

I always loved how they dressed them in the Chamber of Secrets movie. I loved how they did their hair in it as well. I missed the robes that seem to be used less and less as time went on. When I was out a couple of days ago, I saw a couple of girls wearing their school uniforms. I could not help but think of this movie. Anyway... in the second film, I think the overall look of them was more like what I imagined in my mind when reading the books the whole way through book six. edited because I must have been half asleep when I typed that up. Words were missing and everything. Weird! lol

Sorcerer's Stone for Duddahs. Loved the pure innocence of the apparell and how close to the books it appeared.
I was always a little bothered about Professor McGonagalls sharp shoulder blades that they started in HBP and DH... I really liked her wear in CoS. and SS.
