Ooo I LOVE to go to the bookstores and look at the books about places... Places like Ireland.. Scotland... different places in Europe. They have wonderful images of the people and the land... as well as being filled with lots of information about them.
I normally have calendars of places like this.

miss c, there are a LOT of italians and italian descendants that live in canada! in fact, this country is a real melting pot. people from all over the world have made canada their home.
i've been coast to coast in canada, from newfoundland (my band did a tour there in 06) all the way to BC. i've never been to the northern territories, like yukon or NWT...nor do i really care to LOL, i have no love for colder climates! i've been to a number of northern states and went to denver CO once.
i've been to england (of course, i lived there) and as newcastle isn't too far from the scottish border, we use to drive up to scotland. we also have visited other cities, some relatives are scattered and we drove to see stonehenge once. cool.
i've never been anywhere else.

Speaking from what I just learned, Canada had massive immigrantions around the 1900's and the 1950's. I'm pretty sure that most italians came over in the 1950's immigration.

Hey guys this is fun.. Thanks for the stick JB.. And thanks Duddah's for the makings of a wonderful treat.
Earlier this year, while shopping for groceries... I found the biggest marshmallows I've ever seen. No kidding... ONE marshmallow was the size of about four or five regular large ones. Yep.. I had to buy a bag. I dipped mine into Hershey's dark chocolate syrup. One was more than what I could eat at a time.
