OK...  This is wrong.. I came here to post my events for today.. but backreading these last few posts... ;D I sincerely HOPE I won't have to use them HERE... Gets to go to CPR class today.  *drops in a coin* Yeah... I"ll be offline all day because it's time to be recertified.. I find this is going to be very handy if I am going to get that job working at a nursing home soon. Duddah.. PLEASE drink that pepper up potion that was left for you. Hope you feel better soon. Wow it's sounds like a busy day Miss Charlotte, good luck with your class. I think you'd be great working at a nursing home because you're very compassionate and easy to talk to.
Gets a gift certificate for one free ride in a flying car-thilnk I'll give it to Miss C so she can get to her CPR class in style!

"drops a coin" You don't know how this makes me feel to hear you say this about me... I mean here at home, I'm being called cold. Part of the reason I'm saying I had enough. Some people see what they want to see and nothing will change that. I'm actually looking forward to the future now. If all goes well, I will get the keys to my new apartment in a few weeks.. I already have it secured to come to me. It is nice two bedroom. Fully loaded kitchen, meaing all appliances even it's own washer and dryer. They are painting the apartment right now. I'll have a balcony.. Oh and it has a pool. Nice neighborhood and a policeman living in my building. Even has a handy man who is employed by the owners of the place. It's half a minute from everything in our town. (ten minutes from my son who will need to stay here in this house.) My place is on the bottom floor, where my son could come over any time I want. I thought I was going to have to settle for upstairs and he would not get to come until another one was available.. Things are falling into place. Still.. needs another paycheck and all will be a go on that front. Needs a new job. Needs furnature.. I'll be taking with me some things but I don't really want much from here just to keep the kids settled and less disruption to their lives as possible. Besides.. I'm getting excited that I will get to decorate this place how I want to.. I spent part of this afternoon walking around an antique store... Oh.. yes... some things I'm drooling over already.  But I'm a cash sort of person.. now I know the ballpark to save my money for for some things. I love this thread.. I'll put in a wish for this as if it were a fountain.. Gets a job as a CNA soon.  I wonder if Madam Pomfrey needs an assistant? *Drops in a coin.* Really, I look forward to this.. getting to give back to the community who was always there for my family.. for my son. Then if I get the particular Nursing Home I'm hoping for... it will be the one my son would be going into when my now hubby can no longer hold out. At least I will be there to ease the transition. As it is now... I've been slowly backing off my son's care myself.. then training his father in what he never knew I have been doing for the past 22 years when he was not looking. Still... there are some procedures I will have to come over to tend to myself.. I"m really glad to just because I love my son and do not wish him any discomfort of any kind.. some things are too much for some people and that is understandable.. Already.. his father's eyes are open a bit more wide, these past couple of weeks.. But I know he will do just fine. OK... got to go.. So tired right now, and I have to scoot my daughter out of my place to sleep. That little monster... she's laughing right now as she takes off with my covers.... uh... fuzzy blanket. |

Wow, the apartment sounds wonderful Miss C. A pool sounds great and I like the idea of having a policeman near too, gives you a safe feeling. Here's hoping it all works out well for you, it sounds like a great job too.

Tonight I had the most interesting night. We, my daughter and I, have been out looking for a certain thing for her Halloween costume. I remember a long time ago when you could not go anywhere out there in the world without finding something like it...
WELL... We went to the Halloween Store. Tornado sirens went off and so we all were told that we have to go to the back of the store where normally people are not allowed.. their stock room. We had to wait for half an hour before we were allowed to get back to shopping. All was well.. just a little rain.. but I have yet to go look at any news reports to see if there really was a tornado or not.
Anyway... While shopping there. I thought I was standing next to a kid. Then I turned to look at it and it was a manican girl dressed up like Hermione. ;D
So...
Gets to stand next to a Hermione dummy and laugh. ;D
