GO OZZIE!!!
Heck, Sophie bugs me too much for me to root for her.
Albert is too dumb.
Coach is too phoney.
Brandon, well, you know what I think about Brandon..... I would drown my gold fish if he wins....
Not that I have Goldfish, but maybe I will go out and get one and drown it just for affect.

Well Miss Charlotte, you got your wish come true.
It was so anticlimactic once Sophie out puzzled Ozzie to make the final 3.
And I stand behind my assertion that Ozzie was the best and should have won the entire game.

Honestly.... If Sophie didn't win, I would have gone for Ozzie myself for the win. Too bad he made the dumb move to try to take out Christine. I still say she might have been their number seven and so Coach's team would have really had to scramble from that point onward... well at the merge. Also, Cochran would not have had the room to do as he did... AND, Ozzie still would have had possesion of the idol. WHen is he going to learn to hold onto that thing? I think Edna said it in a nutshell.... This game is all about manipulation... Being duped or being the one to dupe everyone else. They all volunteered to have this be the case. When are people on this show going to learn not to trust people explicitly? In the case of Coach and Brandon, I don't really like their strategy. I do see that it is better to do right by people... to pray and choose the right. But I also see that they used religion to manipulate the rest of those around them. IT seemed to me, that the ones who didn't want to pray as a group, only did so because they didn't want to upset the balance.... or... In a way it's better to do as their leader suggests, so not to make an enemy of them. I honestly believe if I were ever to go on this show I would of course be in an ever lasting prayer... but I'd do so privately for strength and to play a good game. I mean, the whole gist of the game is to outwit and outlast those around them. Ultimately to win the million dollars. I liked how out of all of those out there, Sophie mentioned that she got to admire Dawn most of all... She hoped to become more like her. Then because of Dawn being on the other team we all know she didn't get the chance to know her all that well before Dawn was voted off. I wonder if ANY of them would have played the game in the same way that they played if they ALL returned for another turn? I DO LOVE the idea of next season. I have thought of this often over the years... What IF, they were to all live together in one area while being on two teams? Can you imagine the alliances will be so bizarre? ;D Finally a season worth tuning in for the new twist.

Now I believe you understand my utter disgust with Brandon and Coach.
What they did was not to manipulate but to exploit and to abuse anyone else over their personal connection with their lord and or religion.
I detest people who do this and I do believe you now have come to see some of where my disdain for Brandon from the get go came from. It was not just a feeling or something out of thin air, it was a true aversion to anyone who exploits or harms others in the name of any religion. That is not right. Just ain't fittin.
I also did appreciate Sophies comments in the recap show. Still Ozzie did play the best game yet again made a crucial error that came back to bite him in his tree climbing behind.
Still, I also see that you now have a new found appreciation for Ozzie. I have always seen him as truly one of the good people of this world.. And I would so love to be as naive and childlike and pure of vision as he seems to be at times.

;D So often you make it sound like I" just NOW" understand when between our conversations here on this thread, and the ones in private agree with you for the most part. I might just say "yep" and that is all. I guess I just nev er had and still don't have the extreme emotion you have towards particular people in this season's game. I don't think anyone from this season got me emotionally envolvoed. Just a disgust that they brought Coach back AGAIN! I try to give people the benefit of a doubt. There was a time when Brandon finally did chill out and I was keeping my fingers crossed that he was sitting back and turning over a new leaf. All it was (and I had seen it from nearly the beginning) the rest of the team decided, since he was a loose canon, not to let him know what the game plan was. I knew once he went off on that girl he liked, but kept hitting himself over the head over the fact he didn't want to like her... so he set her up... He lied to get the group to vote his way. That backfired and he found peace once she was eventually gone. Before that he wandered off to do some soul searching in private prayer. THAT is good. To allow others to see you pray in this manner is good. You don't have to drag others in with you unless they actually wanted to be. He was just so dumb that he actually believed they did want to join in. That was the line to the manipulation side once Coach figured he could use this. I honestly believe this might have been the reason why Coach wanted to keep Brandon around for so long.. He was the master manipulator. Brandon just wanted all contention to go away... to lay everything out on the table so to be completely honest.... no secrets. That is where I believe his uncle will kick his butt and teach him a thing or two about this game. Hopefully he won't be back again. I don't think Brandon can learn the difference in what he believes is honesty from realizing this was a game. But to be honest.. I believe there is a way to play this game and to have integrity... to be honest. Dawn played that game to the best of her ability. She did go far too. She played the game she could be proud of. She grew personally too. She found out what she really was made of, and she's got it baby! YOu know how I felt about Coach from the beginning. THen this year there were times I wondered if he really did change.... Yep... me giving people a second try... a benefit of a doubt. I'm always afraid that if I don't, then I'll have that come back to ME in the end.. If I do something that someone else takes wrongly, they will never forgive me. You know the saying... Do unto others... It's a good thing to always hold out hope that people can change and become a better person. This is what Coach has been trying to do since he saw how he was, and how people recieved him after the first season he was on aired. No one wants to be that arrogant. He just didn't realize how bad he was. Still, I've always thought from day one (by saying I agree with you) that the group thing in a group setting such as this one was not the place. This game is all about tactics and strategy, They were using prayer in the hypocritical way. Just wrong entirely. So my eyes are not just NOW being opened. I've been on that one for ages... just not so extremely emotional with my words.... still holding out for hopes that they are not usingGod in this way, when in fact that is all that really was. This will come back at them some day. But then maybe because I didn't say anything more than just a "Yep" or an "I agree" that you might have missed... or hoped I'd add more to that bonfire you had going. Honestly, you had it said completely... there was nothing really more I could add. It was when we disagreed that I had something to say that was different. As for Ozzie.... Sadly, I don't agree. He used people in this game to get what he wanted. To me that is wrong. I would have voted for him if he made it to the final three and Sophie didn't make it. I see him as the lesser of the evils between Coach, that guy and Ozzie. I just didn't want the two that went to final three with Sophie to win no matter what, so I had to go back a tribal and there be Ozzie. However I DO like how Ozzie went out... LOVED his shout!

Faggetta Boudit~ (in Duddahs bestiest Brooklyn accent)
Now on to the next season of T.V. drivel.
Just hope they do not do as Jeff Probst suggested; ie. Hanz vs. Hanz teams. I do not think I could take another season of Brandon and from what I saw of the final show, I do not believe he has the common sense of a house fly in a room full of fans.

Ohhhhhh.... I one hundred percent agree with you on that one. NO MORE. I know this is wrong for me to say... But with all of that talk... the times he kept mentioning that he once was in a gang. I wonder if he didn't do too much drugs. His thinking cap seemed to have drifted away... No sense to his madness.

No! I will watch it. I am and have been hooked on that show.
I just seem to find less excitement and more disgust with the participants.

OK here is my post. I kind of like the idea of having both tribes living together. First, they are seperate but all mixed in. It makes me wonder what kinds of alliances this will bring forth. Being boys agains the girls... Eesh. So nostalgic for me you would not believe. That was my whole stance as a kid under ten years old. I was always very competitive... well maybe even some up to age 14. This particular angle of the show hits home. BUT... I've grown up a lot since then. My first thoughts were if I would be predjudice and root for the girls just because they are girls. That would have been the way I would go back in my young years. Now, don't think I would. I tend to mesure up each player individually and how they play the game. I could see myself rooting for a guy but not his team... or vice versus... a particular girl but not the girl's team. One thing I'm SOOOO glad about... no more celebrities showing up. Finally getting back to all new people of which we can not decide if we like or not until they show what they have to bring to the game. Even from seasons past, we can not even tell by the bio's at the beginning of the game what they are really going to bring. I remember some people mentioning the cowboy last season being the popular one to watch. To me, he seemed rather low key and so they didn't give him much air time. Now.. one last thing for now... I wonder what the merge in this type of game, where they are all living together, will bring. I can't remember... are they not living in a home made shelter but this season living in something premade? This is something I shake my head about. It's not really the same thing. Anyway... I still need to figure out what date to circle on my calendar so I will get to watch it as things begin. cool!
