Re-reading some of Duddah's old posts...I'll put some favorites here. This one made me laugh so hard at the visual! 🦉 ❤️ ⚡️
Visiting the Gryffindor Common Room:
"Duddahs fly's into the Gryffindor Common Room.
The room is flooded with streams of brilliant sunlight as it blasts its way through the leaded glass windows over the study table.
The Massive Stone fireplace is quiet. It is very comfortable here in the Gryffindor CR.
Duddahs walks around,,, spreads his wings,,,,does a slow whirl on the spot where a small house elf has stopped to watch the wacky Owl..
The house elf puts his mop down and pushes the bucket of dirty water out of his way.
He grabs Duddahs by the tips of his wings and begins to dance with the Ole Bird..
Duddahs cracks a broad smile, he turns his head over his shoulder and decides it is once again time for him to run round the common room in a bright blue sequine covered Speedo and a tank top that is just a bit too short allowing his belly to tumble out just a bit..
Duddahs lets the House Elfs hands go and it tumbles off into a corner, still dancing in circles until it crashes into a stool and then tumbles head first into his bucket of dirty water..
Duddahs rummages around in the drawer of a desk by the cloak closet..
There it is! HIS SPEEDO!
In a flash, Duddahs is suddenly hopping up and down doing arobics in his speedo and short top.. Looking all too much like Richard Simmons on caffeine, Duddahs begins to dance and grind away as the music from the movie Greese suddenly screams out of the Wizarding Wireless..
Duddahs is in his glory...
The house elf gets his head out of the bucket, head dripping, ears drooped, eyes all watery, dirty watery that is.. Then he gets in line behind Duddahs and begins touch his toes, reaching right, reaching left... Lifting his right and then his left foot, then falling flat on his behind because he had lifted both feet off the floor...
Duddahs turns, smiles a broad smile and continues his routine... A huge Afro like wig appears on Duddahs head.. Now that is the finishing touch he thinks to himself... Yep.. got to get me some exercise! Sweating to the Moldy Voldies! as they blast over the WW.."

That is great, I remember that one!  My very favorite is the one he wrote about Hagrid and the first Jack O Lantern of the season, I used to read that anew every September. Also at Christmas we always liked the same movies so it was fun comparing what ones we had watched that year. |

From way up here, Duddahs spots his coffee cup that NZ has obviously hidden on him.
Duddahs zooms down grabs his cup and with a swift swing of his right talon, kicks NZ smack dab in the middle of his butt,.
Duddahs lands on the snack table and see's NZ now face down and struggling to figure out what has happened to him..
Duddahs giggles and begins to fill his coffee cup with the thermos left my Madame.... Oh good times, good times indeed.

 Loving these Erin. Another memory of Duddahs-I remember the loved The Wizard of OZ and had a long post telling us all about the many books, he knew the names of every one of them.

Duddahs from the thread "A Moment in Time" under Quibbler Features:
"The scene in the reptile house was one that Duddahs and Dudes pup replayed time and again.
We have a small Zoo in Bridgeport Ct. called the Beardsley Park Zoo, It was created in the early part of the 20th century and it has the name Reptile House with the 1920's date over the entrance door. Dudes pup would beg Duddahs to take him to the Zoo which was only a few blocks from the Wonderland of Ice that Dudes pups dad was the director at during his youth.
The smell was terrible and very memorable and the elephant enclosure and pool with performing seals were his favorites. Duddahs could never say no to his pup and many afternoon were spent eating hotdogs and strolling through the animal display but Duddahs found the tropical greenhouse to be his favorite."

Duddahs from our RP "The Hogs Head Inn" under Potter's World Playground:
The rear entrance door to the Hogs Head is suddenly blown open by a gust of wind. It slams into the wall adjacent to the bar. The clanging of some sort of bell filters into the Inn.
First one, then two and the four hairy goats stroll in over the door hearth and walk gingerly into the establishment. Chewing their hay, they all walk towards Rom who looks very perplexed behind the bar itself.
Aberforth walks in with his arms full of split logs for the fire. "It ain't fit for wizard nor beast out there" as Abe kicked the door closed.
The ancient wrought iron latch catches and the wind quickly dies down inside, having just mustered up a cloud of dust from the filthy floor.
Aberforth spots the house elf being surrounded by the small herd of goats.. "Go on, get on with it already. Ya got a habit of drinkin me outa house and home. Clean up ya lazy dud you."
He continues into the main parlor of the Inn and heads toward the fireplace which has a very lowly hissing fire inside.
"Dang if that lazy elf would not have just let it itself out." as Aberforth tosses a loose log on the white embers and a sudden roar of flame and heat come rushing into the near frigid room.
Still with the chill in the air, Aberforth picks up his head now that his load has been lightened and he notices The humongous form of Hagrid and his pal Rallem sitting at one of the rickety tables near the filthy paned windows.
"Yep, hows you Rallem, Hagrid? Bet that lazy help has not even gotten your order yet. I see your pretzel dish is empty as his head is..." With this, Aberforth lets out a small snicker and tosses the rest of the logs onto a small pile along side the fireplace.
So boys, what can I do for you this fine afternoon, and don/t be some smart arse and give me any roses and daisy back talk either.."

Duddahs' roleplaying of Aberforth Dumbledore was amazing, I felt as if I was watching the scenes themselves in every post.

"What is Exploding Snap?
OK, we have all been there. You put on a pair of slacks or pants that are just a little bit too tight but they are the only ones in your closet that do not have wrinkles or are appropriate.
You go out for dinner, and once you have finished that last mouthful of Tartuffo your pants are either manually opened or it has what is known as Exploding Snap to the top button."
