#181 with 999,819 to go for One Million For the Deathly Hallows For me.... I have a feeling by then I'll be pulling the midnight shift at my next temporary job. If not, then you know I will be there standing in line... Woo Hoo... I can't wait. I ALWAYS get goose bumps when I hear the first notes of the HP theme playing while I'm sitting there watching it for the first time.

I'm not sure when I will get there as I work nights and sometimes if it comes here it gets sold out. If I don't get to it right off I will be looking forward to see what you all think of it.

,,,and in the 1st few moments when I first see the HP logo, I'll be thinking of all of you! Of course, after that, I'll be too immersed in the movie. I will also see it within a few weeks after that, with my husband, I tend to see them twice in the theatres...once without my husband, because he can't be out that late when he has to go to work the next day...and then another time with him on a weekend.

#192 with 999, 808 to go for One Million For the Deathly Hallows. Oh my gosh! I so envy you all so much right now. There's not a single commercial on the tv here, AT ALL! It's like three weeks or less away from us, and there are no trailers on the telly, there's no posters on the streets, no commercials, nothing! That also means there aren't any contests so far, so my chances of ever going to the real London premiere are really reduced to zero this year. (I've always entered every contest so feverishly, hoping that I'd go and get my book signed, or just to take a quick snapshot of the actors or of J.K.Rowling. But none of the such so far!) I wonder what's wrong with my town, for not having any posters on the local cinema yet!

Congrats to you Erin. I know I too have gone to see midnight showings of some movies.. but I don't think any were of HP. Then I too used to go see the HP ones by myself then later with hubby... then again with daughter... then maybe... maybe with someone else.
OK... I"m marking calendars... I will have off work Wednesday and Thursday nights... Is the opening on one of these? If so I WILL be there too.

Oh Lucky you Erin.
I made Jenn a promise to go with her when she can go too and that will not be until sometime in December it looks like..
I am going to be dying inside every time I see a commercial.

#195 with 999, 803 to go for One Million For the Deathly Hallows I made Jenn a promise to go with her when she can go too and that will not be until sometime in December it looks like.. I am going to be dying inside every time I see a commercial. You brave owl, you! I hope to see it as soon as possible. Though I am not quite sure whom to bring. My parents, my friends... or solo? Or go see it three or four times? (if I have the money) Then there's still the question if it'll be in English in the local cinema. They still dub it... Horrible for one, since it's all out of sync with the lips. But worse: the voice actors are the same bunch that did all movies over the past few years. It's seriously wrong to hear a 17 year old Harry or Draco talk with the same voice as they had when they were 12. If they don't have the original English version I'll have to go to nearby town by bus... and probably reserve some tickets. Like... RIGHT NOW! *runs off to do so*

I never thought about the voices being dubbed-you identify the voice with the actor so much, I agree I'd miss those voices terribly.

#199 with 999,801 to go for One Million for the Deathly Hallows. Hey... when Im in a goofy mood.... I like to change the language on my DVD settings and watch them that way. I know the Harry Potter movies so well already, that I know what they are saying... Then to hear the goofy voices it's so hilarious even when it's not supposed to be. ;D for Leance... I'd hate to have to watch them the first time that way. I would imagine it would take the fun out of looking forward to seeing them if you had that served to you.

Even though I might not to go right away, I do so enjoy hearing what people's opinions of the movies are. I remember when HBP came out and people were talking about the raising of the wands. I wasn't sure what they meant til I saw the movie and realized it was a tribute when Dumbledore died, I thought that part was so moving.
