I'm leaving tomorrow AM to visit my family in CT for a few days so when I get back I expect you smart people will have solved the whole thing. I can't wait to see what you come up with for these last two, I'm still puzzling on them.

5. For One is the only, while two are a pair. Three are the sum and four just bad hair. Hmm.... Just a quick thought.. I see three sounding like it's excepted.. but the fourth is not... then the fourth has bad hair.. We all know that Harry was the fourth Triwizard Tournament Champions.. and he had bad hair.

. For One is the only, while two are a pair. Three are the sum and four just bad hair. I guess it's each of the triwizard champions. All of them... not just Harry.

Ah, Yes Miss Charlotte, your answer now is absolutely correct! Good Going... You see if you read the Riddle, it works out this way. 1. Fleur was the only (one girl) 2. The two that are a pair are Cedric and Harry who are both Gryffindors. 3. Three being the sum as in the Tri Wizard (Three Wizard) Champions. 4. The messy hair as you rightly pointed out refers to Harry Potter... So the Four Tri Wizard Champions.!

4. Oh yes I was done seven times. The look of mange is just one of my whines. Ok this is a very excellent riddle which I do NOT know the answer to. This is what I've been thinking about. The seven times immediately brings horcrux to mind-but the other riddles seem to all time in with GOF so I'm not sure how horcrux would fit. I did think about the deaths of either Jorkins or Bryce in GOF being made into a horcrux-but not sure how mange or whine would fit in? Also a dog can get mange and they also whine sometimes so is it something to do with a dog? Anyone else have any ideas on this one?

Ok.. every time I read this I get the vision of Fawkes right after burning time.. but I knew it was not the correct answer... I can't think of anything else that would have the appearance of mange. What was done seven times ... well we had a whole theory I did posted several years ago... all having to do with numbers.. magical numbers.. Seven was on the repeat thread many times over. So I"m still stuck.. BUT..
Now with the new clue you have pushed towards us.. I'll have to say seven locks on Moody's chest. Now the person who you see is not the person you see is in fact the fake Moody.. or Barty Crouch jr..

Miss Charlotte, Your theory is so very close to being spot on that I almost have the urge to burst into Flames! Alas, the correct ID is not Barty Crouch Jr.. You are so extremely close to who looked as though they had Mange though.
