As for the one you were having trouble with here is a hint.

To look around before we enter, yes the house is a must because it is the center. But look up and down and low and behold, what you see before you enter will tell you the answer to be told.

Well now, I have to say Fangsfan1 I had to read this answer a few times to determine what I believe it was saying. I am not at all familiar with the word dooryard. It is possibly something regional to your corner to the world?
