JB... here's some sending your way because of the fires.

Thank you so very much Miss Charlotte.
Duddahs is holding up pretty well so far. The first major surgery for the catheter and first stent is on Friday the 17th and we will take it from there.
Duddahs was given a brand new Samsung tablet for his needs in recovery and is trying to figure out that thing before he goes in for the big one.
HEY! JUST SAW SOME BUTTERFLIES FOR REAL! Duddahs new raised bed gardens and flowers have gone nutso this year. It gives Duddahs so much to look forward to enjoying upon his return to the nest after all is said and done with.

Duddahs, what a beautiful place! I would just love to relax and read a book out there on the patio. So peaceful...and some little things that are reminiscent of HP...the owl, the astronomy type instrument that could have been in Dumbledore's office... And I can totally picture Professor Sprout working in the gardens! Some of your pictures remind me of my Dad's yard. I'm here now, so if I get a chance, I will take some pics.
Duddahs, I will be thinking of you, and sending out well wishes and good vibes your way. Take it easy with the healing, and come back on here to let us know how you're doing, when you can.
Erin

I went out of town today and on coming home noticed signs from Mark's Lawn and Garden in my hometown that they had a "butterfly pavilion" today. Wish I could have gotten to find out what that was.

Ooo... YOu have to go someday, then come back to tell us where you found. That sounds cool. ... Duddahs, you tempt me so much to join Facebook. Honestly, over the years, you have been so happily, descriptive when you talk about your Shell Cottage, I see it vividly in my mind. You find so much joy there, I can also imagine just what Erin said she saw.

Yes... I'm sending them too.
I love Monarch butterflies best. They travel the farthest.

I really thought it might be flowers that attract butterflies and they did have that, but also tons of real butterflies, mostly Monarchs. They were everywhere, on all the flowers, you kept seeing more and more. It was amazing, I kept thinking how I couldn't wait to tell everyone on the Lounge.

Duddahs loves the butterfly parade. Thanks to all of Duddahs friends here at the lounge he was enjoying their playful antics in his gardens. It was hot and sultry today an the flying companions of the flowers were out in full force. So wonderful to have all of you here when things become a little difficult. Sending butterflies to all of your gardens to help polinte your dreams too.

Now that must have been a real site to see. I've seen pictures online (and on documentaries) of the Monarch covered trees down in Mexico, where they go during the winter. If my memory serves me right, they fly as far as your neck of the woods and Canada then back to Mexico each year. That's further than a lot of bird migrations. They are cool.
So glad you were able to go. Actually, I was thinking earlier this year, that for next year, I would like to plant some butterfly attracting bushes instead of my usual.
